Line guide - Free position

Reference guide that works as a ruler.

  • Linear, segments marked construction guide. Free space mode allows to position the guide freely using two position points.
  • In addition, when positioning line guides, intersection marks (created as refPoints) can be created between the reference guides in the scene.

Note: Also referred in the toolset as refLine.

  1. Pick a base reference point.
  2. Pick a second reference point determining the direction of the guide.

The line guide is divided in point that can be used as snap targets. The distance of the marks can be set on the modifier panel.
