Dialog UI for select and set material IDs
The UI is similar to the default UI section in the modifier panel, but with larger buttons and easier to use.

Works with editable poly objects only.

You can also select all the faces that has the same ID as the current selected one.
An additional option allows to randomly set IDs for the selected polygons.
