Pivot Repositioning Commands
The Pivot Repositioning tool groups common pivot adjustment commands in a convenient UI accessible from the toolbar or ribbon button.
Features:
- CENTER, TOP, BOTTOM: Common operations available directly as macros.
- Top Corners / Middle / Bottom Corners: Box model reference locations represented by A, B, C, and D buttons.
- 3 PNT: Position the pivot using three points (base point > Y axis > X axis). SHIFT: Flips the Z direction.
- Can also set a Working Pivot.
- FACE: Place the pivot at the center of an editable poly face, aligned to the face normal.
- Can also set a Working Pivot.
- RESET PVT: Resets the pivot to its original location.
- RESET XFRM: Shortcut for the built-in Reset Object Xform.
Pivot to Snap Point
Quickly move an object’s pivot to a snapping point. Works with any snap type.
If no object is selected, the tool repositions the pivot of the object where the snap is displayed (if any).
This tool is best assigned to a keyboard shortcut.
Transform Locks
Convenient shortcuts to enable or disable standard transformation locks on selected objects.
- All: Lock/unlock all transformations (Move, Scale, and Rotate).
- Move Lock
